Arizona State guard Frankie Collins has been a defensive pest and will be in the record books as a result. Collins has 72 steals through 24 games played this season.
Thank you for reading this post, don't forget to subscribe! This is just four shy of the school’s single-season record of 76, set by defensive legend Fat Lever during the 1981-82 season.
Helping a cause
Not only is Collins positively impacting the game for his team, but he also announced that each steal will go toward a cause.
ASU’s Frankie Collins vows to donate money for every steal this season
Currently, the junior would donate $1,440 to an elementary school in his hometown of Sacramento.
Collins also leads the team in scoring and assists. This further shows how impactful he has been both offensively and defensively for ASU.
Arizona State wins!!!! Jaylon Tyson misses the buzzer beater and the Sun Devils come back again. They win 71-69 and move to 8-5 over Cal. Frankie Collins had 25 points

Games remaining
The Sun Devils (12-12, 6-7 in Pac-12) have seven regular-season games remaining on the schedule.
Considering that he is averaging 3.0 steals per game, Collins should crush the school’s steal record and make it challenging for anyone to come near it.
Arizona State needs to put together a string of victories to have a shot at the NCAA Tournament. Collins will look to continue his two-way dominance and help the team during this stretch.
