Purdy’s performence

Despite the loss, Brock Purdy performed relatively well.

Purdy completed 23 of his 38 pass attempts for 255 yards and a touchdown through the air. He also rushed the ball three times, totaling 12 yards on the ground.

It is worth noting that the 49ers’ receivers had several drops throughout the game.

With an opportunity to go up seven points in overtime, Purdy and the team were forced to settle for a field goal. Patrick Mahomes then led the Chiefs to a touchdown drive, securing a victory for Kansas City.

Just the start

This season has been nothing short of incredible by Brock Purdy.

Including playoffs, the second-year QB finished with 5,054 passing yards, 34 touchdowns, and 12 interceptions. This was while leading the team to a 14-5 record.

His impact on the town of Gilbert had been showcased constantly leading up to the big game.

With the amount of young talent in San Francisco, this team should be back to dominating next season. Until then, the Kansas City Chiefs are the team to beat in the National Football League.
