The Phoenix Suns have made the three-team trade with the Brooklyn Nets and Memphis Grizzlies reported earlier today official according to a team release.

Here are the full details of the trade:

  • Suns: Royce O’Neale, David Roddy
  • Nets: Keita Bates-Diop, Jordan Goodwin, 3 second-round picks (via Suns)
  • Grizzlies: Yuta Watanabe, Chimezie Metu, 2026 first-round pick swap (via Suns)

The release includes a quote from Suns’ general manager James Jones about O’Neal and Roddy:

“‘Royce and David both bring a competitive mindset and defensive intensity that improves our team as we continue our drive to win an NBA Championship,’ said James Jones, Suns President of Basketball Operations and General Manager. ‘Royce is a very intelligent and disruptive defender, capable of guarding multiple positions, also adding significant playoff experience and reliable three-point shooting to our roster. David possesses exceptional strength and physicality, bringing energy whenever he steps on the court.'”

O’Neale will wear No. 00 for the Suns, while Roddy will wear No. 21.

It is unclear when O’Neale and Roddy will officially join the team and be available to play.
