Phoenix Suns coach Frank Vogel ruled Devin Booker out tonight against the Utah Jazz with left hip soreness.

Bradley Beal is available after Vogel originally said he was a game-time decision after suffering a right ankle sprain in Tuesday’s win over the Bucks. Both were originally listed as questionable.

Booker was added to the injury report this morning. Eric Gordon will start in his place.

“(Booker) had some hip soreness from the game the other night and is not able to go,” Vogel said pregame. “Hopefully it’s not long term, he’ll be day-to-day.”

Booker being out snaps a 16-game streak with all of the team’s Big 3 available.

Damion Lee is the only other player on the Suns’ injury report and remains out after undergoing right meniscus surgery on the offseason.

The Suns added Royce O’Neale and David Roddy today via trade and sent out four players, so they will have limited depth tonight. In total, Phoenix will still have 12 players available, as all three of its two-way players are active.

These two teams last met on Nov. 19 in a controversial, double overtime game that the Suns won 140-137 after the refs overturned a foul call on Kevin Durant that would have resulted in three free throws and a chance to tie the game for Lauri Markkanen.

The Suns have gone 3-0 in total against Utah this season and will go for the sweep tonight. The Jazz are scorching hot as of late having won 19 of their last 30.
