San Luis has dominated defensively and outscored opponents 38-5 through 11 games. The team has shut out its opponent in seven of the 11 games played this season.
They are currently ranked No. 4 in the state behind just Sunnyside, Tuscon High, and Mesa, according to MaxPreps.
Chance at redemption?
The team fell short against the No. 4 ranked Perry Pumas in last year’s 6A conference championship. They will now look to get back there with a different result.

San Luis can continue keeping it rolling in Thursday’s matchup against the Hawks. It is worth noting that the Sidewinders defeated the Hawks in dominating fashion just last week.
Stay tuned in to see how the rest of San Luis’ season unfolds.
