Tkachuk, Sam Reinhart, Anton Lundell, Sam Bennett and Jonah Gadjovich all scored for the Panthers (29-14-4) who have won two consecutive games.

Dylan Guenther had a two-point night and Logan Cooley got his fifth goal of the season for the Coyotes (23-20-3). Karel Vejmelka gave up six goals on 43 shots.

Things got spicy quick as Jack McBain and Ryan Lomberg immediately started the game by dropping the gloves to fight. Then, Liam O’Brien and Jonah Gadjovich did the same right after, scrapping and landing blows before the officials broke up the scrap.

After both bouts ended abruptly, the Panthers had a jump and were assertive when attacking all night.

Confusing Vejmelka, Tkachuk began skating towards the blue line, but ripped a seeing-eye shot past the Coyotes netminder as Florida grabbed a 1-0 lead 1:53 into the game.

O’Brien took another penalty and the ‘Yotes were short a man before the Panthers got on the board again.

After Florida snapped multiple passes between one another on the power play, Tkachuk gave the puck to Sam Reinhart who ripped his 35th goal of the season at 8:44 in the first period.

Burning past the Coyotes’ defense, Bennett would tack on another tally 0:17 after Reinhart, and the Panthers were up 3-0.

With two points already, Tkachuk made it three as he sniped over Vejmelka’s blocker side, extending Florida’s edge to 4-0 4:14 into the middle frame.

On a 2-on-1 opportunity, Lundell tapped in a pass from Reinhart for a 5-0 Panthers lead with 2:47 left in the second period.

Already having a fight in the game, Gadjovich finished a breakaway chance for Florida, cruising 6-0.

To get a goal back for the Coyotes, Clayton Keller connected with Guenther who scored, making it 6-1 3:25 into the third period.

Cooley buried another late, but Florida’s early firepower already did the damage.
