Considering it is NBA rivalry week, it was only fitting that the Suns and Mavericks had some heated moments in the 1st quarter of their matchup.
Thank you for reading this post, don't forget to subscribe!It started when Grant Williams stood over Kevin Durant for a couple of seconds. Obviously not a fan of what Williams was doing, Jusuf Nurkic jumped to his teammates defense and gave Williams a quick shove.
The exchange did not end there, as Williams retaliated with a shoulder nudge, sparking a verbal altercation between the two teams.

All three players were awarded technical fouls. Ironically, this marks the 2nd straight game where Grant Williams has been in the middle of a scuffle against the Suns.
As the first quarter unfolded, the tension persisted, with Kevin Durant and Luka Doncic later exchanging words after Doncic’s emotional outburst towards an official.
Then, in the 3rd quarter, in the midst of a monster run by the Suns, Grant Williams was ejected, for yelling at an official.
