The Sun Devils are coming off a dominating defensive performence and victory against the USC Trojans. This was a much-needed bounce-back game after the team lost the two prior against Washington and UCLA.
Junior guard Frankie Collins has played a significant part in the team’s defensive play this season, as he averages 3.1 steals per game.

Both Oregon and Arizona State are 5-2 in conference play through 18 games.
Oregon is coming off back-to-back road losses to Utah and Colorado. The Ducks have been incredible offensively this season, scoring 78.2 points per game compared to ASU’s 69.8.

The key to victory for the Sun Devils will come down to slowing down Oregon’s offense. If ASU can continue forcing turnovers while limiting their own turnovers, they can very well pull out a victory.
Arizona State’s Road Play
While they have been elite and lost just one game at home on the season, the Sun Devils are 2-2 on the road. This has a lot to do with how engaged and loud ASU fans have been all year long.

The atmosphere in Thursday’s game will not be an easy one to play in for ASU, as the Ducks are undefeated at home and also have an engaged fan base.
The Sun Devils would move to 6-2 in conference play and ahead of Oregon with a victory. It is safe to say that this is a crucial game for both teams and would mean a great deal in the Pac-12 standings.
