Brailsford’s Impressive Season
Brailsford started every game for Washington in his very first eligible year in college. Not only that, but he performed at a high level and helped lead the team to a National Championship.
The former Sabercat was named to the 2023 All-Pac-12 Second Team and 2023 Freshman All-America First Team for his dominant year at both right guard and center for the Huskies.
Redshirt freshman OL Parker Brailsford (#72) from Washington is one of the most impressive lineman I've seen in the portal.
Right guard on this play. Watch the movement skills on the reach/seal block.

According to PFF, Brailsford allowed just one sack on 612 pass block snaps this past season. His fit with the Huskies and consistent play were on full display immediately.
What This Means
As discussed over the past week or so, the retirement of longtime Alabama coach Nick Saban has caused a ridiculous domino effect in college football.
Nick Saban's retirement has caused a domino effect that has included changes at:
– Alabama
– Washington
– Arizona
– San Jose State
– South Alabama

New Crimson Tide and former Huskies head coach Kalen DeBoer has been heavily recruiting since he arrived at Alabama. He has spoken highly of Brailsford in the past, making this move one that was expected.
The 20-year-old is just one of many Husky players that entered the portal. There will be many more moves in the coming weeks and Alabama is a team that will be recruiting these players.
