Shooting Struggles

The Clippers have been thriving since they acquired Harden, winning 23 of their last 29 games. As he’s gotten more acclimated in the lineup, the team has looked dangerous.

However, he was not efficient in Sunday’s matchup against the Timberwolves. Harden shot 4-15 from the field and 2-9 from beyond the arc. He finished the game with 14 points, eight assists, two steals, and two blocks. The 34-year-old also had four turnovers and committed three fouls. Despite Harden’s struggles, the Clippers kept it close and lost by just four to one of the hottest teams in the league.

Considering how well Harden has shot from three since joining the Clippers and how elite Minnesota’s defense has been, this performence shouldn’t be held onto too much going forward.

The former Sun Devil will look to get back on track in a Tuesday matchup against the Oklahoma City Thunder.
