James Conner Joined Elite Company In The Cardinals Win Over The Eagles

On Sunday, the (4-12) Arizona Cardinals upset the (11-5) Philadelphia Eagles, 35-31. Arizona was able to control the game through their run game.

The Cardinals ran for a total of 221 yards and controlled the clock. The Cardinals won the time of possession battle 39:39 to 20:21.

James Conner had 26 carries for 128 yards and one touchdown. He also caught a touchdown pass. This gave Conner 50 rushing touchdowns for his career.

The active player with the most rushing touchdowns is Derrick Henry of the Tennessee Titans. He has 89 rushing touchdowns. Long time Dallas Cowboy now New England Patriot, Ezekiel Elliott has 71.

Current Buffalo Bills running back Latavius Murray has 59 touchdown passes. Melvin Gordon III has 56 touchdowns but has only scored one this season.

New Orleans Saints running back Alvin Kamara has 54. Bills quarterback Josh Allen has 53 rushing touchdowns. Christian McCaffrey is having a great season for the San Francisco 49ers with 14 rushing touchdowns, which has put him at 52 for his career.

On the all-time list Conner is one touchdown away from tying Jonathan Stewart, Mike Pruitt, Greg Bell, and Neal Anderson.

Conner looks to be in his prime and will continue to move up the rushing touchdown list as his career progresses.
