Head coach Jonathan Gannon said that tackle D.J. Humphries will be out for Arizona’s last game versus the Seattle Seahawks as he endured an ACL injury, according to Cardinals senior writer Darren Urban.

The eight-year Cardinal encountered this issue when he played against the Philadelphia Eagles this past Sunday.

This is a similar setback to what quarterback Kyler Murray had to go through, dealing with an ACL injury as well.

It took Murray almost a full year to recover and return to NFL action, so Humphries faces a long timeline away from the field.

Humphries started in all 15 games he played and missed the Cardinals’ 25-23 win over the Atlanta Falcons due to an ankle injury.

Last year, he suited up for the first eight games of 2022 before a back injury ultimately cut his season short.
