Brophy Attempt To Stay Afloat

After starting the season with five straight victories, the Broncos (8-6) have lost six of their last nine games.

They lost to Bakersfield Christian and Clovis West while participating in the challenge. They also defeated John Paul II and Notre Dame Prep during the challenge.

Brophy is coming off a season where they finished with a 24-9 record and entered the open state playoffs as the No. 6 seed. However, they were eliminated in the second round by Basha. The team will look to turn their season around and get back to the open playoffs with a different result in mind.

Next Matchup

The Broncos next match up against the 7-6 St. Mary’s Knights, who are currently a top-10 ranked team in the state. This game will occur on Wednesday, Jan. 3 @ 7 p.m.

Brophy will look to get back on track against a top team in the state.
