The Wolves (11-4) started the challenge with two straight close victories against Gonzaga Prep and Boulder Creek. Their start was impressive considering both teams have not been easy to beat this season.
Despite the strong start to the challenge, Desert Mountain lost back-to-back games to Capital Christian and Houston Christian as the challenge closed out.
Despite sophomore guard Kaden House's 39 points, Desert Mountain lost to Texas' Houston Christian today in Visit Mesa Basketball Challenge. House made 12-12 FTs, 3-6 3s, had 12 of 21 FGs, had 3 assists, 2 steals. HC was coming off 64-63 loss to Salpointe Catholic.

Desert Mountain’s Path
Desert Mountain next face off against the 13-2 Casteel Colts on Tuesday, Jan. 9 @ 7 p.m. The Colts have been incredible this season and are currently ranked as the No. 16 team in Arizona.
