Boulder Creek Get Back On Track
The Jaguars (11-6) lost back-to-back games against Desert Mountain and Gonzaga Prep during the second and third days of the challenge.
Boulder Creek did not let these losses get in the way of their play, as they pulled out an impressive win against a top-1o ranked team in the state.
Despite the losses, the Jaguars proved that they should be considered a contending team and could make serious noise come playoff time.
Valley Christian Struggle
The Trojans (13-2) entered the challenge undefeated but have now lost two of their four games played, with losses to Clovis West and now Boulder Creek.

Valley Christian was ranked No. 9 in the state before this loss and may very well drop as a result. Regardless, the team has proven that they are of elite status and should be considered the favorite to take home the 3A championship once again.
Next Up
Boulder Creek next matches up against the 9-4 Basha Bears, who are currently on a three-game losing streak. The Jaguars can continue their dominance with a victory against yet another top team in the state.
The Trojans have another tough challenge as they face the 14-2 Rancho Solano Prep Mustangs on Tuesday, Jan 2 @ 7 p.m. They will look to get back on track against an elite team.
Keep a close eye on both of these teams as they can make a serious run when playoffs arrive.
