Phoenix Suns guard/forward Josh Okogie will miss his fifth straight game tonight vs. the Sacramento Kings with a right hip injury, Suns’ coach Frank Vogel said in his pregame press conference.

Okogie was a full participant in yesterday’s practice and was determined to be a game-time decision this morning after originally being listed as questionable.

Okogie is averaging 6.5 points and 3.4 rebounds across 23 contests for the 14-13 Suns. He suffered the injury during last Tuesday’s matchup vs. the Warriors and was ruled out at halftime.

The Suns (14-13) are 1-3 across the four games Okogie has missed and have lost seven of their last 10 overall. The team greatly misses his defense.

Phoenix plays the Kings at 8 p.m. MST tonight. In the first matchup between the teams on Dec. 8, a 114-106 Sacramento victory, Okogie was tasked with guarding De’Aaron Fox. Okogie finished the night with 0 points, but did have two blocks and two steals.

Overall the Suns will look to somehow snap out of their funk against a pretty much completely healthy Kings team without Bradley Beal (right ankle sprain), Jusuf Nurkić (personal reasons) and Okogie.
