Despite a somewhat rocky start to the season, the Pumas (7-3) came out and showed why they are still the team to beat in the state.
The reigning open state champions went on a small stretch of losing including a close 53-52 loss in a championship rematch against Sunnyslope.
Perry will look to build off this dominating victory and gain momentum heading into the open state playoffs once again.
Boulder Creek Gets Wake-Up Call
The Jaguars now drop to 7-2 on the season.
This was a matchup where the team could have proved their elite status but the Pumas ended up being too much for them.
Boulder Creek and star player Andrew Bhesania have been dominant to start the year but undoubtedly have work to do before being championship contenders this season.
