He hinted at this move a couple of weeks ago.
Djonkam finished his Sun Devil career with 35 total tackles after being a top 10 edge rusher out of Junior College. Djonkam was a solid player for the Sun Devils during his time. He will be looking for his next team after entering the transfer portal.
ASU was Djonkam’s only Power 5 offer out of JUCO, as he was offered by UTSA, Liberty, and North Texas.
Kenny Dillingham has already added Cincinnati Edge Rusher Justin Wodtly to fill that hole left by Djonkam, so ASU’s feeling good about where they are in the linebacker position so far.
