Phoenix has lost four of its last five games and is 12-10 on the season. The Suns have not played in one game with the team’s Big 3 of Kevin Durant, Devin Booker and Bradley Beal so far this season. Here’s how their record has fared so far with and without these three stars.

Full Suns’ Record Breakdown with and without the Big 3

  • Booker, Durant and Beal: 0-0
  • Booker and Durant: 7-3
  • Durant and Beal: 1-2
  • Booker and Beal: 0-0
  • Durant only: 2-4
  • Booker only: 2-1
  • Beal only: 0-0

The Suns will next play Tuesday night against the Warriors at Footprint Center, the second matchup of a five-game homestand, which spans until the team plays in Portland on Dec. 19.

Currently, Beal and Durant are injured. Beal has missed the last 12 games and 19 total with a low back strain suffered in the preseason. Durant sprained his left ankle Tuesday vs. the Lakers and did not play in the Suns’ 114-106 loss to the Kings Friday.

Additionally, Grayson Allen suffered a right groin strain vs. the Lakers and did not play Friday. Nassir Little went down hard during the first quarter of Friday’s game and did not return due to being in concussion protocol.

Here’s coach Frank Vogel’s updates on all of these players (Damion Lee is the only other injury and remains out after having right meniscus surgery in the offseason):

Beal has been a full participant in practice since Thursday. Vogel said then that the Suns want to see him stack practices and how he responds to them before making him available.

In terms of if these players could play Tuesday, Vogel said, “Don’t know yet. They’re all possibilities, but it’s too early to tell.”

Even though the Suns currently have three full days off, Tuesday’s game marks the start of a back-to-back, as Phoenix will take on the Brooklyn Nets Wednesday night.

We will see if any of these players suit up for these games, but it sounds like Beal is the closest to returning. Booker certainly can’t wait to play with Beal for the first time.

Stay tuned for further updates before Tuesday’s game.
