Thank you for reading this post, don't forget to subscribe!Fans are not happy. Some are unhappy that he’s supporting “sports-washing.” The term is given to Saudi-backed leagues that are being used to cover up the crimes being committed in Saudi Arabia.
My hubby is pretty pissed #JonRahm went to LIV after saying the PGA would be his legacy. I reminded him every man has a price, 😑

Jon Rahm joining LIV golf destroys my faith in human nature. Hope he enjoys playing golf in his shorts and spending the $500m that the Saudis probably paid for his soul. This is so disappointing on so many levels.

Some fans are calling him a hypocrite because just a year ago, he knocked on LIV Golf and said he would never make that move.
This video single-handedly tells me all I need to know about Jon Rahm.

It’s a lot of money to pass up, I get it. However, not a fan of the hypocrisy Jon Rahm went about this with.

Other PGA players have also reacted to the news, most notably Rory McIlroy, who’s been one of the biggest pro-PGA Tour players since LIV was founded.

With how many negative comments there are about Jon Rahm, there are also a lot of people who understand the decision, given how much money it is. Also, when Rahm first made his comments, LIV had just started, and it was PGA vs LIV. Now, PGA has attempted to go into business with LIV behind their player’s backs, and so with that, people are siding with Rahm because of the hypocrisy of the PGA Tour.
Jon Rahm should just tell the truth and simply say, "I turned down a lot of LIV money previously because the PGA Tour asked me to be loyal and insisted there would be no coming back. Then the PGA Tour tried to go into business behind my back with the same people they told me not…

"If eventually the PGA and LIV are going to merge, which they're going to have to, then I get it if I'm Jon Rahm. It would be tough to turn down that kind of money."

People are calling Jon Rahm a hypocrite…when someone offers you somewhere in the neighborhood of $500M…You're no longer a hypocrite…you're just financially responsible
— RJ Choppy (@rjchoppy) December 8, 2023
How can you blame Jon Rahm for going to LIV? The landscape has shifted. Jay Monahan sold out his players and the PGA Tour. Why should any golfer be loyal to him? Especially when you're offered $400 million. It just sucks that professional golf is fracturing before our eyes. pic.twitter.com/XmRfN1vCrw

One Arizona State fan couldn’t help but mention that Rahm’s contract might make one football coach really happy.
I bet @KennyDillingham puts Jon Rahm on the Collective Christmas Card list. Rahmbo could fund the next five Big 12 Championships for Sparky.
