The Corona del Sol Aztecs Varsity boys soccer team has started the season with six straight victories.

The team now has more wins through six games than they did through their entire 2022-23 season. The Aztecs finished last season 5-11-2 and missed the 6A conference playoffs.
They have now started the season 6-0 while outscoring opponents 20-4.

The team’s top goalscorer to start the year has been senior striker Sean Maguire. Maguire has scored nine goals and assisted on two in just six games played this season.
Becoming Championship Contenders
With their current level of play, the Aztecs are undoubtedly 6A conference contenders this season.
As of right now, Corona is ranked as the third-best high school soccer team in the state, behind just Sunnyside and Shadow Ridge, according to MaxPreps.
They are rapidly climbing among the rankings and gaining the respect of other programs in the conference.

Outlook for The Remainder Of Their Season
The team defeated the Basha Bears 2-0 on Tuesday and now face the 2-1 Liberty Lions on Thursday in their attempt to remain undefeated.
While there is still a long season ahead, the Corona del Sol Aztecs boys soccer team is one to watch as a championship contender this season.
