Before coming to the valley, Jones spent two seasons with the Tennessee Titans and played eight games this year.
As a Titan, the undrafted lineman suited up for 32 games, defended 2 passes, recorded 3.5 sacks and 53 tackles.
On Nov. 7, Jones was waived by the Titans and claimed by the Cardinals on Nov. 10.
Jones would head to Arizona with a familiar face from Tennessee in their front office, Arizona general manager Monti Ossenfort.
Ossenfort departed for the Cardinals GM gig at before the season started, but oversaw the Titans prior to the change, with Jones being one of the players there at the time.
Because of defensive tackle Leki Fotu (hand) being placed on injured reserve on Nov. 21, the addition of Jones could be seen as insurance in case of another injury.
However, Jones may make his Cardinals debut sooner or later with the end of the 2023 season just around the corner.
