The last time Bo Nix and the Ducks were in the Phoenix area, Nix threw for 400 yards in the first half versus Arizona State. Well, Phoenix will see them again as they have been chosen to compete in the Fiesta Bowl at State Farm Stadium in Glendale versus Liberty University.

The Ducks lost the final Pac-12 game of all time to Washington on Friday. This eliminated them from College Football Playoff contention. They dropped from #5 to #8 and will now face the #1 group of 5 teams in Liberty. The Flames just won the C-USA Championship over New Mexico State. Liberty capped off an undefeated season with that win. They will now be ranked in the top 20 of the CFP. However, this is a slap in the face to Oregon, who was one play away from winning the Pac-12 and playing in the College Football Playoff.
This game will be on New Year’s Day at 11:00 AM in State Farm Stadium. Oregon will be a heavy favorite coming into this game, and I think it will be a blowout.
