The Guaranteed Rate Bowl will be held at Chase Field on December 26th. It was just announced that it will be the Kansas Jayhawks versus the UNLV Rebels.

This will be a Big 12 versus Mountain West Matchup. The Jayhawks had a fantastic season, finishing 8-4. However, late losses versus Texas Tech and Kansas State ruined their top-25 campaign. UNLV secured a birth in their conference championship game with a 9-3 record but were blown out in their championship game by Boise State to bring their final record to 9-4.
The Jayhawks were a top-20 rushing offense this year, with Devin Neal finishing with 1200 yards and 15 TDs. Jason Bean, their starting quarterback, had a fantastic season throwing for over 200 yards in almost every game he played in. UNLV was led by Jayden Maiava, who was fantastic all season, finishing with 2500 yards and 12 TDs while also having 230 rushing yards. WR Ricky White led the Rebels with 1200 yards receiving, finishing eighth in the country.
