Clark was the #1 cornerback for the Sun Devils this past year and did a really good job for Wide Receivers like Rome Odunze. He finished with 48 tackles and two stuffs while playing every game this season.
It felt like this was coming as Clark barely said a word in his postgame press conference while just having his head down almost the entire time like he knew it was his last game in a Sun Devils uniform.
One fan used this tweet as an opportunity to bash Dillingham for losing a lot of players to the transfer portal. So far, only Clark, Jalin Conyers, and James Djonkam have announced transfers. Clark was not here for the Dillingham slander.
Seems like everyone leaving and like I said he not a good coach and sad that I been a asu fan my whole life and to hire this coach is ridiculous.. he just talks to much and likes to here himself talk .. why don’t you coach ..

He is an EXCELLENT coach, and man. This program is in the right hands, and moving in the right direction. Kenny Dillingham is the man for this job, and someone I respect/admire a ton.

It’s no secret that Kenny Dillingham did not have a good first year, but you also can’t expect him to. It is incredibly rare for a coach to be great in their first year as a coach; it usually takes them two to three years to get their players and system in place. What Dillingham has done in his first year has been impressive. No underclassmen transferred out of this program. So far, the only ones that have are grad students.
It is great to see Clark sticking up for his coach and not afraid to defend him online. Clark will make a fantastic corner for whatever team he ends up on next, and there is a good chance we’ll see him playing on Sundays in the future.
