Durant entered tonight needing 14 points to pass Hayes, and he got all 14 in the first quarter. Durant now has 27,314 career points.

This is also KD’s 1,000th career game.

Durant now has his sights set on cracking the top-10 all-time scoring list, as he needs less than 100 points to get there. He has has to pass Moses Malone (27,409) to reach this milestone.

This is already the second time Durant has moved up on the all-time scoring list this season, as he passed Hakeem Olajuwon in the Suns’ second game of the year to move up to 12th all time.

The Suns currently lead the Blazers 32-18 in the first quarter.
