Burn City Best Bets: Kyler Murray Player Props

The (1-8) Arizona Cardinals are at home against the (4-5) Atlanta Falcons. This is one of the most highly anticipated games between two under .500 teams in NFL history, due to the return of Cardinals’ quarterback Kyler Murray. What are the best bets to make on Murray for Sunday’s game?

Over/Under 218.5 Passing Yards

I like Murray to go over 218.5 passing yards. The offensive line is banged up for the Cardinals. Starting guard Trystan Colon will miss the game. Guard Will Hernandez and tackle D.J. Humphries are both listed as questionable. The health of the offensive line will affect the run game in a major way. The run attempts will be down with the not so good health of the offensive line, so that means more passing attempts for Murray. Take the over!

Over/Under 25.5 Rushing Yards

Kyler Murray was one of the best duel threat quarterbacks in the NFL prior to tearing his ACL. I am not expecting him to be the 2020 version of Kyler Murray but with the offensive line banged up like I mentioned earlier. Murray will have to scramble to make plays and some of those scrambles will lead to big runs for Murray. I also would not be shocked to see a few designed run plays for Murray to help loosen up the defense. Take the over!

Anytime Touchdown

Kyler Murray is at +280 to score a touchdown. I don’t see him doing any quarterback sneaks in this game but don’t be shocked if he scores a read-option play at the goal line. Take a flyer on Murray at +280 to score a touchdown.

Over/Under 1.5 Passing Touchdowns

This Falcons defense has given up 17 passing touchdowns so far this season. Which is fourth most in the NFL, only behind the Chicago Bears, Philadelphia Eagles, and Washington Commanders. I love the over on Murray throwing more than 1.5 touchdowns.
