Cardinals QB Kyler Murray’s status “Questionable” against Browns

The Arizona Cardinals have announced their “Game Status” list for their Week 9 contest against the Cleveland Browns and out of the names acknowledged, star quarterback Kyler Murray is labeled as “questionable.”

As Murray’s progression towards him making his 2023 debut is near, this is yet another huge indication that he is close.

Furthermore, Arizona head coach Jonathan Gannon said that either Murray or rookie quarterback Clayton Tune will get the nod to start against Cleveland, so the possibility is real.

Also, the Cardinals traded quarterback Josh Dobbs to the Minnesota Vikings on Halloween, Oct. 31, since Murray is almost ready to return to the gridiron and Dobbs was, therefore, a surplus to requirements.

It has almost been 11 months since Murray has last been in an NFL game after suffering an ACL injury against the New England Patriots on Dec. 12, 2022.

However, the Cardinals have to activate Murray to the 53-man roster before Nov. 8 or Murray will be ineligible to play in a game for the rest of the year.

Once there is an official say as to if Murray’s game-time status vs. Cleveland, Burn City Sports will keep you up-to-date.
