Tommy Pham, who found himself grounding out to second base right in the midst of this electrifying home run spree, shared his initial reaction from the dugout as he bore witness to his teammates etching their names in history.
In an interview with Theo Mackie of AZ Central, Pham expressed, “Domo got one and I was like, ‘Hell yeah.’ Marte crushed one, I was like, ‘Hell yeah.’ C-Walk blasted one and I’m like, ‘Daamn.’ Then Moreno hit the foul ball and I’m like, ‘Ah damn.’ Very next pitch, he blasted one, I’m like, ‘Hell yeah.'”
It is hard to beat that reaction in terms of perfectly capturing what everybody at home was feeling at that moment.
