The 49ers were up 21-3 with a little more than five minutes left in the half. Arizona followed up with a much needed response to close the first half. A 33-yarder and a 16-yard pass for a touchdown.

This was a huge drive as the Cardinals were able to go into halftime with some momentum. The 49ers were up 21-10.

2nd Half

The third quarter was mostly quiet as the Cardinals defense was able to slow down the 49ers offense.

Arizona’s offense closed the gap with an excellent 11-play, 99-yard drive, that ended with another Michael Wilson touchdown.

The Cardinals looked to have all of the momentum heading into the fourth quarter. Looks can be deceiving though. The 49ers took control in the fourth quarter and pulled away. This included a fourth touchdown for Christian McCaffrey.

The Cardinals would not score in the fourth quarter as the 49ers would go on to win, 35-16.
