Danny Trejo and Manuel Artaega have been showing out for the Rising this season and as the most consistent performers for the club, the two star offensive strikers have led their team on its three game win streak, both scoring one goal in each.

Trejo has added five goals to the Rising’s total over the last five games, adding two assists, 10 shots on goal and six shots on target. With an 83% success rate in finding the back of the net on targeted shots, Trejo holds the lead spot in the race for the Golden Boot with 15 goals this season.

In Arteaga’s last five games for the Rising, he has registered three goals, 15 shots on goal and seven shots on target. He holds the second place spot in the race for the Golden Boot with 14 goals.

With seven games left in the regular season and a steady No. 5 spot in the Western Group of the USL Championship, the Rising are on fire heading to the finish line. The Golden Boot is still anybody’s accolade to claim and two Rising players are at the front of the race.
