The Coyotes Street Hockey League promotes an easier entry into the sport of hockey for youth around The Valley. With the partnership, the program will be expanding from Gilbert to Scottsdale and other cities to help organize and provide rinks and equipment for street hockey leagues in schools.

“We are very excited to partner with Equality Health to strengthen our impact in the Valley community,” said Xavier A. Gutierrez, Coyotes President & CEO. “The Coyotes and Equality Health are committed to investing in our youth and improving the accessibility and inclusivity of our great sport. We look forward to providing Valley kids with an opportunity to learn and play the game of street hockey while providing a healthy and active lifestyle.”

Equality Health focuses on transforming healthcare to value-based payment methods to target diverse and marginalized populations in an inclusion initiative.

Other promotions in response to the partnership include sponsoring the Raise the Pack Physical Education Curriculum, Equality Health Champions and the Festival De La Salud.
