The Arizona State football team wrapped up its seventh practice of fall camp this morning.
Thank you for reading this post, don't forget to subscribe! The Sun Devils were much more physical than in previous days.
“I walked in the meeting room today and said this is gonna be one of the hardest practices of fall camp,” Dillingham said following practice.
Dillingham wasn’t impressed with Arizona State’s offensive line today and said they had their worst day.
The defense got the better of the offense today, winning the last 3+ sets in a row of tempo drills, 7 on 7’s and 11 v. 11’s after the offense scored on the first tempo set. The best play of the defense came when LB Travion Brown picked off a tipped ball and returned it for a touchdown.
This being said, Dillingham said QB Trenton Bourguet had a really good day. The Sun Devils are still working through their quarterback competition between Bourguet and Notre Dame transfer Drew Pyne for the No. 1 spot.
Jalin Conyers, Elijhah Badger named to preseason award watch lists
There were a lot of good teaching moments from practice today. The team practices tomorrow and Wednesday in Tempe before heading up to Camp Tontozona following Wednesday’s practice, where they will stay until Saturday when a big scrimmage (open to public) caps off their time up North.
