Standing at 6’3, Groover has a bat that consists of raw power. Last season at NC State, the 21-year-old finished with a .332 batting average along with 13 home runs and 50 RBIs.Â

Before playing at NC State, Groover spent two seasons in Raleigh, where his bat earned him All-ACC Second and Third Team honors.
