Shams Charania dropped a big piece of information today on the Pat McAfee show today as he was discussing the Bradley Beal trade that sent him from Washington to Phoenix.

This doesn’t come as a surprise as Ayton has been involved with trade rumors since the season ended a month and a half ago.
With the Suns spending as much as they are on 3 players, the Suns will be over the luxury tax and flirting with the apron tax if Ayton is still on board this season.
The Suns are most likely fielding calls to get role players on cheaper contracts to round out the rest of the roster around the new big three in Phoenix.
