As expected, there were a lot of talks on all sports talk shows about the Suns’ new-look team after their trade for Bradley Beal.
Thank you for reading this post, don't forget to subscribe! One of the media personalities that aren’t quite sold on the team is none other than Stephen A. Smith who voiced his opinion on First Take earlier this morning.
"I'm not sold on it… the best team in the NBA? I don't wanna hear that… My issue is… Is there any defense whatsoever? And the depth, that definitely is a question mark as well."

Smith doesn’t believe in the Suns primarily because the Suns still have issues involving their depth and lack of defense that showed up huge in the playoffs last year when the Suns lost to the Nuggets in 6 games of the second round.
This trade isn’t the end all be all as the Suns could still trade Deandre Ayton, in an effort to get some depth pieces back as well as sign players on vet minimum contracts to round out the remains of the roster.
Shams: “Since the Beal Trade, the Suns Have Gotten a lot of Calls on Deandre Ayton”
Not everybody will agree on the trade, but it’s worth noting that it’s hard to judge the team until we get farther in the offseason and into the season.
