Even though it shouldn’t come as a surprise, the Phoenix Suns brass recruited Bradley Beal heavily to try to get him to come to Phoenix, and that brass even links guys like Devin Booker and Kevin Durant according to Shams Charania.

James Jones and Mat Ishbia did everything they could to get a new high-level scorer next to Booker and Durant.
It got to the point where the trade ended up feeling like a free agent signing where Beal chose where he got to play for next. It was reported that the Wizards had better offers but with Beal’s no-trade clause, he had all the power.
This is the first time a team had 3 scorers in the 20-points-per-game range since James Harden and Kyrie Irving were with Durant in Brooklyn. Let’s see if it can result in Phoenix-winning a championship.
