Payne hasn’t stepped foot on the floor yet this series and it’s good to have him back. The Suns’ depth hasn’t been able to score consistently with him out of the lineup this series.

Monty Williams during his pregame pressor talked about what it’s like to have Paye back in the lineup and he kept it short and sweet as he maintains focus for tonight’s game.

Williams also said that he expects Payne to be on a minute’s restriction for Game Three action tonight. Payne on the season has averaged 10 PPG and 5 APG.

His biggest attribute is his up-tempo play that gets the Suns running and gunning on offense. This will be good for the Suns especially when it comes to fast pace tempo in the first half so they can get out to fast starts.
