Jameson was drafted by the D-backs in the first round of the 2019 draft out of Ball State University. The 25-year-old got the call up to the bigs last season, where he finished with a 3-0 record, allowing just four earned runs in 24 innings.

After starting his 2023 campaign on a similar note, Jameson has fallen into a bit of a slump over his past two starts. However, overall, Jameson will be sent down with a 2-1 record, 16 strikeouts in 17 innings, and a 3.71 ERA.

In his place, the Diamondbacks have called up LHP Tommy Henry. Similar to Jameson, Tommy Henry was drafted by the D-backs in the 2019 Draft, just one round later.

Henry also saw some playing time in the majors during the latter half of the 2022 season. In nine starts, Henry posted a 5.36 ERA.

In the minor leagues this year, Henry has struggled quite a bit, as he has allowed 15 earned runs in 21 innings pitched at Triple-A Reno.

Tommy Henry will get the start for the Diamondbacks on Monday night as Arizona begins a three-game series against the Kansas City Royals. The first pitch is scheduled for 6:40 PM.
