The Phoenix Suns are long removed from Jae Crowder’s offseason and season antics.

While being able to receive a perennial superstar forward in Kevin Durant, Phoenix also rid themselves of the toxic relationship that had brewed over with Crowder.

Still, even in the midst of a successful playoff push against the Los Angeles Clippers, fans couldn’t help but notice Crowder’s poor performance with the Milwaukee Bucks.

After Game 3 for the Bucks against the Miami Heat, the internet pointed to Crowder.

Crowder also received a bit of flak from his suspicious maneuver to Jimmy Butler’s leg in Game 3.

The Bucks desired to bring Crowder into the championship pursuit due to his spot-up shooting and defensive versatility. Yet to date, none of those feats have been on display in the postseason.

The 32-year-old is averaging a mere 2.3 points per game on an unthinkable 23 percent shooting from the field. His minutes don’t suggest that the Bucks see him as a high-rotational player either with 13.6 minutes played in the series.

Even with Giannis Antetokounmpo remaining out, Crowder still received the same 13 minutes in Game 3.

Losing the veteran forward for Phoenix was a tough blow at first. Without real bench depth, Crowder’s presence would’ve sufficed until the trade for Durant.

Yet fast-forwarding, the Suns are still figuring out rotations from the reserves. Still, they are also enjoying a 2-1 lead over the Clippers.

On the contrary, Crowder and the Bucks may be on the way to an upset with the Heat leading 2-1. With Antetokounmpo out, the Bucks title pursuit has taken a hefty blow.
