Chris Paul lived up to the nickname CP3 that he has had in the league for a long time tonight. Paul was cooking in all facets of the game tonight with a career-high 7 made three-pointers to go along with 25 points on 9-14 shooting in an impressive night for the future hall-of-fame point guard.
Thank you for reading this post, don't forget to subscribe!Paul uncharacteristically had 2 assists that even shocked himself tonight as he said after the game that he isn’t used to having that many low assists tonight. However, after the game despite his seven made threes, he felt as though he could’ve made more tonight for his team.

Head coach Monty Williams talked with the media after the game and alluded to the great game that Paul played as well and how much more open space Paul has to operate with now that a lot of the defensive looks are focused toward Booker and Durant.
“He’s in this mode of having his feet and hands ready now as opposed to cashing and putting it down and attacking. They’re going to double-team Kevin and play off of whomever. Play off of him to go against Kevin and Book and we know he’s going to have to make those shots and we know Chris is capable of it.”
In back-to-back games now, Chris Paul has hit 12 threes and has scored over 20 points in back-to-back games for the first time since the Suns’ road trip dating back to early January. Durant who wasn’t on the team then, has always known Paul could have games like this and adjust to anything the game calls him to do.
Kevin Durant talked about building good habits as opposed to focusing on the team record with him in the lineup and how good Chris Paul adjusts in game to what the game calls for like him hitting a career high 7 threes tonight.#WeAreTheValley#NBA pic.twitter.com/FqN5vkAXWr

The Suns will now be heading to Los Angeles tonight to take on the Lakers on a back-to-back. Williams said that he doesn’t know if he will rest his starters or not for tomorrow’s game but is still looking to see what he’s going to do.
