Over the last three games, the Suns have lost by giving up more than 115 points in each of those games. On the season in particular, the Suns rank 7th in defensive rating but have not looked like a top 10 unit over the past few games.
Deandre Ayton even alluded to it at the morning shoot-around today and he believes the key to getting back on the right track is for the Suns to play better on the defensive end.

Ayton also gave it more thorough insight into how teams gameplan into stopping Devin Booker, Chris Paul, and himself which has allowed a lot of backdoors three’s to be wide open. The problem is, the Suns haven’t been hitting those three’s routinely like they have earlier in the season. Ayton alluded that the team has shot the ball with confidence in order for these shots to go in.
"Guys that are open got to shoot their shots with confidence."
