Mikal Bridges hysterically names Kevin Durant as his favorite athlete growing up

During an interview at practice with the Brooklyn Nets, Mikal Bridges proved again why he is a league favorite, not just because of his talent but also because of his personality.

Bridges was traded away from the Phoenix Suns just two weeks ago, as they acquired none other than 13-time All Star Kevin Durant.

And who can blame Mikal for naming Durant?

After all, KD is one of the league’s most pure and consistent scorers and arguably a top-10 player in NBA history.

The trade was obviously an emotional roller coaster for Bridges, as he found himself a home in Phoenix. After spending the first 4.5 years of his career with the Suns, there was a certain connection that was made that cannot be replaced.

Bridges will not be a free agent until the end of the 2026 season, meaning sadly he may not have a chance to play with his favorite athlete growing up.
