The Phoenix Mercury are reportedly sending Diamond DeShields to the Dallas Wings; who the Mercury will get back in the trade is unclear, with teams still negotiating. The trade could up end up being a four-team deal involving Marina Mabrey.

Last season with the Mercury, DeShields averaged 13.1 points and 3.8 rebounds per game. She won a WNBA championship in 2021 with the Chicago Sky and made the All-star team in 2019. DesShields has scored 13.2 points, 4.2 rebounds, and 2,2 assists per game in her five-year career.
