After the Phoenix Suns’ 99-95 loss to the Dallas Mavericks, point guard Chris Paul took to the podium to talk about the game and what happened down the stretch that ultimately decided the outcome of the game.

“I think I talk about that a lot as far as turnovers but looking at this we only had seven,” Chris Paul said after the loss. “I think coach was more speaking about something I think that we harp on day in and day out constantly when talking about situational awareness. Which is when you watch games night in and night out and in this league, those in the gameplay right there decide a lot of games and it’s hurt us in the past and we just got to be better.”

Another note that Chris Paul alluded to after the game was how much Crowder has played a role in the culture change of this team and how his game and presence on the court and in the locker room are severely missed by everyone.

“Jae 99 I miss him, I miss him it ain’t no secret about it,” Paul said. “You know it’s one of our brothers you know what I mean I came here with Jae. You know so I hope he’s good, 99 you’re out there I hope you’re good but you know it’s a business, it’s the league. It is what it is.”

Crowder has been away from the team all season as he is waiting for a trade to come through that will send him to another team preferably before the trade deadline. The Suns have been on the phones nonstop trying to get the right deal done that will hopefully get them the right compensation in return for him.
