During the holiday season last month, Payne took the time to give back to his community. As shown on the Twitter graph up top, he shopped with local children and donated $10,000 to Le Bonheur Children’s Hospital.

During his time doing this, a video crew captured some of the moments that Cam Payne had with the kids and he explained why this generosity means so much to him.

“It’s like a blessing to really see kids smile and achieve the things that they want to achieve in anything it is.”

Payne also alluded to goals that kids can achieve and why pursuing anything isn’t too big as long as you got God and belief in yourself.

“Do whatever you want to do, and be whatever you want to be in life it’s always there and it’s never too late. Just knuckle down whatever you want to be and I promise you man it can come true. You just got to put your mind to it.”

Even though Payne still won’t be back for a few weeks, it’s good to see these kind of moments get recognized for kids and the next generation.
