Cam Payne Will Be Re-evaluated in Two Weeks

Joe Campeoreale- USA TODAY Sports

News came out yesterday that Suns guard Cameron Payne will be out for tonight’s game against the Cleveland Cavaliers with a right foot soreness injury and that he will be re-evaluated in two weeks according to the Phoenix Suns.

The injury took place in the Suns last matchup against the Cavaliers and the injury re-aggravated a foot injury that he suffered last month against the Houston Rockets. With Chris Paul already leaving yesterday’s game with a right hip soreness injury, the Suns depth at point guard is very tight right now.

The Suns are already without Devin Booker and Cam Johnson for some time and now add Payne to the list of multiple week’s injury as the Suns continue to lack continuity night in and night out every night on the floor.

Injuries Piling up for the Phoenix Suns

With the Suns still sitting at 7th in the west at the halfway point, there’s still time to get out of this slump and get healthy but the clock is ticking for a Suns team on a 5 game losing streak.
