Booker’s NBA journey has been quite the story. From his father taking him in to help train him get to the next level by living in Mississippi to going to Moss Point high school and being one of the highest recruiting players coming out of high school.
In his Moss Point career, Booker averaged 27.1 PPG and in his senior year alone he averaged 32.8 PPG before becoming a McDonald’s All-American. His 2518 points are the most ever scored by a Moss Point basketball player in their history.
With the Suns getting ready to play the Pelicans in a few hours, it was nice for his teammates and family to be able to share that special moment with him. And now his Jersey and name is in the Moss Point rafters for life. Congrats Devin Booker.
