Coyotes Youth Maturing

Over the last two weeks, the Coyotes had a rough stretch, losing 6 in a row before beating the big, bad, Bruins. Last nights game showed growth in the Coyotes youth.

This game was neck and neck all the way through, and spent most of the game tied. It was 1-1, 2-2, and 3-3 before time ran out on Boston. Arizona scored last and went home with a 4-3 victory.

Games like this show focus, grit, and perseverance. At any point in the game, the Yotes could of folded and gave in to the pressure. Mentally fighting through all of the white noise and getting the job done.

Snapping a 19 game losing streak to Boston definitely pulls the monkey off of the back and the rabbit out of the hat.

Looking Ahead

Arizona will stay home and welcome the Philadelphia Flyers on Sunday before heading to San Jose.

Last night’s win was one of those wins that showed just who this Coyote team is, and what this team could potentially be moving forward.

The game was tough both physically and mentally, took fortitude and extreme focus to pull that off. It was a perfect example of what it takes to win games at this level of hockey. 60 minutes of hockey played at it’s highest form.
