Candice Ward-USA TODAY Sports

The Arizona Coyotes, who are 1-6-3 in their last 10 games, will take on the Oilers in Edmonton tonight. Edmonton is 14-12 on the season and 5-5 in their last 10 games. Coyotes should come out aggressive trying to put an end to this losing streak of five games.

Coyotes Over Losing Streak…

The Coyotes over the last 10 games have lost a number of them in heartbreaking fashion. There are a lot of those games that were lost either in overtime, in shoot outs, or losses by 1 point.

Early in the season the Coyotes biggest problem was giving up points early, and in bunches. Lately, it seems that problem has been fixed only for the team to struggle with closing out close games.

Over the course of a season with a young team, which the Coyotes are, you have these bumps in the road. Find one problem, fix it, and another rises.

It will take time for these young guys to learn how to put together 60 minutes of winning hockey.

What to Expect from Edmonton?

Edmonton, one of the few teams without an overtime loss on the record this season, looks to close games out in regulation.

In their last six games, the Oilers are 4-2. On top on that they have scored north of 3 goals in 5 out of those 6 games. This offense puts shots up in bunches, and fills rebounding lanes exceptionally.

Arizona will have to be disciplined on the back side of the defense, not allowing second chance shots on the goal. As the Oilers will look to take advantage of any said lanes.
